COVID Guidelines

All Staff have been tested for COVID-19

All Staff will take Mayo Clinic’s daily COVID self-assessment test.

When recommended by the Mayo Clinic test, staff members will test for COVID

All Staff will not come to work when feeling ill or with a temperature of 100.0+ degrees
-
All staff is required to wear masks at all times & face shield during facials
-
All Staff pledges to always practice under the highest standards of hygiene and safety
CLIENT COMMITMENT
-
Client must let us know if they are not feeling well prior to the appointment and if they need to cancel.
-
Appointments can be refused if a client has a fever, repeated cough, respiratory ailment, or has been in contact with a person that tested positive with COVID-19.

PROTOCOLS & PROCEDURES
Opening:
​

Staff hands washed immediately upon entering space
-
The staff takes their own temperature for reference
-
Lounge & Treatment rooms will be cleaned & sanitized with medical-grade sanitizer
-
Including all hard surfaces, retail area, doorknobs, and floors
-
Air purifiers will be running in each room cleaning the air 6 times per hour
-
All implements are washed with soap and water, then immersed in a medical-grade sterilizer
-
The sterilizer is CDC approved as a germicidal, virucidal, bactericidal, fungicidal, and tuberculocidal
-
Implements are disinfected and sterilized
-
Fresh linens will be provided on the treatment bed
-
Fresh towels are placed into a UV sterilizer towel cabinet
-
All modalities are sprayed with a sterilizer
-
Modalities are disinfected and sterilized in between clients
-
Masks are prepared and provided for each client (if needed)
-
Hand Sterilizer and Soap are filled
In Between Client protocol:
Extra 15 minutes between clients are allotted to allow for proper sanitation and sterilization
Linens will be removed and refreshed
All implements are washed and sterilized
All hard surfaces and doorknobs are cleaned with a medical-grade sterilizer
Closing:

The lounge & treatment rooms will be cleaned & sanitized with a medical-grade sanitizer

Including all hard surfaces, retail area, doorknobs, and floors
-
Implements are disinfected and placed into UV Sterilizer
-
All Linens removed for laundry service
-
The hot towel cabinet will be sterilized with UV Sterilization
-
All modalities are sprayed with a sterilizer
-
Garbage removed
-
The air purifier runs 24/7 cleaning the air 6 times per hour
-
All hard surfaces, doorknobs, and floors are cleaned with a medical-grade sterilizer
GREET & EXIT PROTOCOL
Client Arrival & Check-in:

The client must wear a mask to enter the office building
-
Only 1 client will be allowed to check-in at a time
-
**IMPORTANT** If early, we ask that clients remain out in the hallway until their scheduled appointment time

All clients are required to wear a mask to each appointment until they are on the treatment bed
-
All clients are required to fill out the COVID Screening questionnaire prior to check-in
-
The client’s temperature will be taken and with confirmation of how they are feeling
-
Clients will be asked to wash hands for 20 seconds after the initial greet
Client Check-out & Exit:

Only 1 Client will be allowed to check-out at a time
-
Client must wear a mask while exiting the office building
-
The client may use the staircase upon exit to avoid elevators (only 4 floors down)
-
Touch-less payment is available
Treatment Specifics and Protocol:

Appointments are required and must be confirmed 1 day prior
-
The client will have access to hand sanitizer
-
Client will be given clean & disinfected gowns and headbands
-
The client will be asked to limit speaking during while unmasked and during facial treatments
